The V-BAT is a unique single-engine ducted-fan VTOL UAV: it takes off vertically standing on its tail, then tilts into horizontal flight, and performs a comparable maneuver for landing — no runway needed, no launcher, no recovery net. It runs on a single Rotapower Wankel engine inside a shrouded fan ("ducted fan"), making it quieter and safer than an external propeller. Ceiling 6,100 m, endurance 8–10 hours, range 700+ km.
