CAIG Wing Loong II

The Wing Loong II ("Pterosaur II") is China's Reaper-equivalent: a MALE UAV with a 20.5 m wingspan, weight 4,200 kg, a WJ-9 turboprop (Pratt & Whitney PT6 clone), endurance 32 hours, ceiling 9,000 m. Visually it strongly resembles the MQ-9 (V-tail, gondola fuselage, slim wing) but with greater clearance between propeller and fuselage and the typical light-grey AVIC livery. Beneath six hardpoints: AKD-10 anti-tank, BRMS-1 air-to-ground missiles and Blue Arrow-7 laser-guided missiles — most of which are direct equivalents of Hellfire and Brimstone with Chinese designations.
