CASC CH-4 / CH-5 Rainbow

The Caihong ("Rainbow") series is the second Chinese MALE family, produced by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) — separate from the Wing Loong line. The CH-4 looks directly like the Reaper in silhouette (V-tail, nose ball, 18 m wingspan). The CH-5 is larger (21 m, closer to the Akıncı/Heron level, 60 hours of endurance). They carry up to 16 weapons (CH-5) including AR-1/AR-2 ATGMs, FT-9 light glide bombs, and BA-7 ATGMs. Users: Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Pakistan. The CH-5 was released in 2017 and has had limited export success due to competition from the TB2 and better Western alternatives.
