Lockheed Martin F-35A/B/C Lightning II

The F-35 is the defining 5th-generation multi-role fighter in Western air forces. Three variants: F-35A conventional air-force variant (CTOL, 1× F135-PW-100 turbofan, ~9,100 kg internal fuel, range 1,100 km combat radius); F-35B STOVL for amphibious ships and short-runway operations (lift-fan plus articulated nozzle, US Marines, UK, Italy, Japan); F-35C carrier variant with larger wing and reinforced landing gear (US Navy, only). All three share more than 70% of the avionics.
