Israel–Hezbollah

After nearly a year of low-intensity border fighting, IDF–Hezbollah escalated in late September 2024 with the targeted attack on Hezbollah pagers and walkie-talkies (17–18 Sept 2024 — supply-chain attack on Apollo pagers using PETN explosives), followed by air strikes on Hezbollah leadership (Hassan Nasrallah killed 27 Sept 2024) and a ground incursion into southern Lebanon.
