The Stryker is an 8×8 wheeled APC/IFV family from GD, based on the Swiss Mowag Piranha-III/IV chassis. DVH A1 (Double V-Hull A1) has a V-shaped underbody against IED blast and a Cummins ISX450 engine. ~17–20 tons, 4 crew + 9 troops. Ten role-specific variants: ICV (infantry), MGS (M1128 with 105 mm gun, retired in 2022 in favor of the M10 Booker), MEV (medical evacuation), ATGM, command, NBC reconnaissance. M-SHORAD-Stryker with Stinger + 30 mm + Hellfire has been fielded since 2021. Unit price: ~USD 4–5 million. Users: US, Bulgaria (183 vehicles, USD 1.5 billion 2023), Argentina, Thailand, Peru.
