DE M-SHORAD (50kW) / Stryker-laser

DE M-SHORAD (Directed Energy Maneuver Short Range Air Defense) is a 50 kW laser on a Stryker A1 chassis, designed against Group 1–3 drones, mortars, and short-range cruise missiles. Systems delivered by Lockheed Martin, RTX, and Northrop in various prototype batches. Field demonstrations 2022–2024 showed successful drone engagements out to ~5 km. Not yet exported; full fielding planned for 2026.
