De Scorpène is de Naval Group SSK-export-vlaggenschip — diesel-elektrisch, optionele MESMA AIP, 67 m, 1.700 ton. Bewapening: 6 533 mm-tubes voor F21-torpedo's en Exocet SM39. Gebruikers: Chili, Maleisië, India (Kalvari-class, 6 boten in licentie-productie bij Mazagon Dock Limited), Brazilië (Riachuelo, 4 boten in licentie-productie + 1 nucleair-aangedreven derivaat in ontwikkeling), Indonesië-evaluatie 2024. India's Kalvari-class is opvallend: tot K6 wordt elke boot complexer (DRDO indigenous AIP voor laatste twee).
